Brian’s 20 years of experience covers leadership roles at Saatchi & Saatchi, The Monkeys and Ogilvy. He’s worked across telcos, cars, alcohol, travel, tech, government, finance, gaming, the arts and industry bodies. He leads the team at Common with a view to use hours more efficiently. We also have an open and collaborative approach to creative and strategy. This enables clients to understand the way we do things, whilst empowering those at Common to better understand our clients’ needs.

Little is known about the origins of Jane Burhop. Some say she hails from that weird part of the internet, others believe she was born with purple hair. Despite all this, she managed to sneak into the advertising industry and has been causing havoc ever since. Half writer, half voyeur, Jane is forever trying to cram more things into her head. Once it’s full, she hopes to be noticeably better at life. Aside from her countless accolades and achievements, she is notorious for hanging upside down when she’s tired. Jane is a recent winner of B&T’s 30-under-30.

Tom’s previous sightings included comic book stores and studying the ways of Visual Communication. He has since brought his passion for surreal sci-fi anime and experimental typographic layouts to Common. He can now be spotted tirelessly creating artwork to captivate the deepest emotions of both human and animal alike. Despite achieving this in work from print to animation, racoons still seem to escape his grasp.
Having spent the first seven years of his career as a freelance designer and front-end developer, Logan eventually capitulated and joined Common on a full-time basis. Logan is continually striving to develop processes to produce high quality work more efficiently and effectively, and is especially fond of good typography and bad heavy metal. He also owns a cat and doesn’t shut up about it.
Upon completing his B.A, Daniel changed his focus to another type of creative problem solving – advertising. He has an extremely high stress threshold, actually listens and is often referred to as someone who simply “gets it”. As a creative, Daniel has played an integral role in some of Common’s most exciting and successful projects.
My name is Lisa Pizarro, you may remember me from such films as “Alien Nose Job” and “Smoke Yourself Thin”. I enjoy writing detailed to do lists, compiling playlists filled with melancholy and re-appropriating Simpsons quotes. Before joining Common I worked in events, radio, marketing and cobbling (odd but true).
Tom & Masha
They’re so creative they don’t even get separate listings on the agency website. Masha and Tom are a dynamic team that argue over ideas, visual language, and whose hair is actually the longest.
Sometimes I see a ball and then I run towards the ball and almost all of the time I eat the ball. I also enjoy completely destroying James’ brand new Havianas. Everyone tells me I am a good boy but they never let me eat their bacon so I just look intently at their bacon and hope that one day they will give me some or all of that bacon. I have no idea what advertising is but I am available to come to briefing sessions if you want to meet me. Make sure to bring bacon and fresh Havianas. Wally is a Dog at Common Ventures.
